Ofri Ziv, VP of Research at Guardicore, is the head of Guardicore Labs, which is responsible for security research, detection and development of data analysis algorithms. Ofri is a veteran of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Intelligence Corps, where he led groups of security researchers and was in charge of the IDF’s elite cyber security training program. Ofri holds MSc in Computer Science from the Tel Aviv University. He is the author of several papers and has over 10 years of cyber security research experience.
Prof. Ehud Weinstein is an internationally recognized authority in the field of signal processing. A Fellow of the IEEE, he has published over 60 papers in leading scientific journals and holds numerous patents in the fields of signal processing and digital communications. He received several awards and special recognition for his scientific and industrial contributions. A Senior Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering, Tel-Aviv University, he is also a Research Affiliate at the Research Laboratory of Electronics, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Prof. Weinstein is a co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Parallel Machines, and a co-founder and Chairman of Tensera. Prior to that he was a co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Anobit Technologies, which was acquired by Apple (NASDAQ: APPL) in 2011. Prior to that he was a co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Libit Signal Processing, which was acquired by Texas Instruments (NYSE: TXN) in 1999. Prof. Weinstein is an Angel investor to a number of technology startups.
Yuda is a prolific angel investor and visionary in the Israeli technology sector with an innate sense for identifying and cultivating disruptive technologies and innovation. Yuda is Managing Partner at Greenfield Partners, a TPG Growth-backed early growth investment platform which he co-founded in 2015. As an investor, Yuda has taken part in some of the most innovative Israeli and Israel-related technology companies over the last two decades. Among his over 40 investments are Helloextend, Reali, Airobotics, Vgen (acquired by Newport Corporation), PrimeSense (acquired by Apple); Leaba (acquired by Cisco) and Crosswise (acquired by Oracle). These companies benefited from Yuda’s rich operational experience as well as his global network. Currently, together with TPG’s network and resources, Yuda looks to provide guidance and value through each stage of development, including scaling for growth, capital raising, operations, competitive strategy and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to his investing career, Yuda managed the domestic sales channel at Computer Associates and held prominent positions at Cheyenne Software, Cheyenne Communications and Texas Instruments. He is also the founder of Texel, a software and integration company which was sold to Elco International. Yuda is active in a variety of philanthropic causes, chief among them his ongoing support and advocacy for the Ethiopian community in Israel, which dates back to his involvement in the rescue of Ethiopian immigrants to Israel during his army service.
Yuda is a veteran of the Israeli Navy SEALs (Shayetet) and received a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Tel Aviv.
